Etienne Kinsey, also known as Oukan, is a filmmaker, content producer, and photographer born and raised in Bronx, New York. Growing up, his favorite pass time was playing with images and colors. During college at Louisiana State University, Etienne discovered his love for working with cameras and finally found an outlet for his restless mind.

After moving back to New York, he pursued filmmaking as a freelance director, cinematographer, and editor. He later realized his interest in photography and began experimenting with portraits, landscapes, and abstract images. Having photography as an extension of his cinematography, Etienne focuses on creating scenes and characters with a still image. He uses lighting, color, and geometry to create diverse and unique images.

If Etienne's art was to be summed up in one word, it would be "Storytelling." Connecting with people through the mood, aesthetic, and character of his work is something that Etienne strives for with each project and something he hopes to continually improve at moving forward.
